Senior Networking Engineer and Microsoft/ Cisco Trainer for Datec Fiji Limited

Experience: 5 to 8 yrs.

As Senior Networking Engineer you will be involved in technical consultancy and providing support for the Datec Network Services Team. 

Requirements, skills and experience are as follows :

• Minimum a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Information technology or computer science
• CCNA, CCNP Certification and min 4 years work experience in CISCO Firewalls is essential. 
• Minimum 5 years hands-on experience in installing/configuring / troubleshooting/ maintaining Cisco switches and Routers, Firewalls such as : Cisco, SonicWall, Palo Alto, Fortinet firewalls and other security appliances
• Minimum 5 years experience in installing and maintaining network configurations and actively troubleshooting network problems;
• In-depth knowledge of all aspects of TCP/IP, switching, routing and wireless fundamentals, advanced firewall design concepts;
• Good working knowledge of Cisco switches a nd Routers;
• Good working knowledge of Site to Site IPSEC tunnel configuration;
• Good working knowledge of Cisco, SonicWall, Palo Alto, Fortinet firewalls and security appliances;
• Has experience in network design, deployment and post deployment support together with fault trouble shooting, general enquiries, solution provision and improvements;
• The applicant is required to have a strong understanding of TCP/IP, switching technologies (VLANs, STP, RSTP, VTP, 802. 1x), Routing (RIP, EIGRP, BGP, OSPF, Redistribution, Summarization), IP (subnets, CIDR, NAT, ACLs, DNS, DHCP, WINS), VoIP and multicast protocols; 
• Should have an understanding of Wifi and Wimax 
• Strong inter-personal and public speaking skills are required with high levels of drive, honesty and integrity;
• Have strong interpersonal skills to ensure customers receive an efficient and professional experience assuring them theyre in the best of hands;
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; 
• Ability to lead a team and to work under pressure;
• A drivers licence is mandatory and is willing to travel.

Microsoft/ Cisco Trainer

Experience: 4 to 6 yrs.  |  Opening(s): 2

Essential Qualifications / experience / requirements:

• Minimum a bachelor's degree in Information technology or computer science; 
• MCT (Microsoft Certified Trainer) and CCNA certification ;
• Minimum of 4 years experience as a software trainer;
• Thorough understanding of the IT industry with exposure to recent trends in IT training ; Develop, conduct and monitor professional IT Training courses (Microsoft, CompTIA, CISCO, Oracle, etc) ; 
• Excellent oral and written communication skills ; 
• Ability to work under pressure ; be an active team player 
• Strong inter-personal and public speaking skills are required with high levels of drive , honesty and integrity ; 
• Strong relationship-building skills
