Job Role Associate IT Quality Assurance Analyst

Job Responsibilities:
1. Use tests develop, apply, and maintain quality standards for company products.
2. Develop, modify, and execute all types of test plans including software, processes, procedure documents, enterprise application integration (EAI), and service oriented architecture (SOA).
3. Maintain documentation of test results to assist in debugging and modification of software
4. Review test results to ensure existing functionality and recommends corrective action.
5. Assist with the basic set-up and maintenance of testing environments
6. Assist with performing test cases and maintaining associated test records
7. Learn to develop and utilize automated test scripts to perform duties
8. Record issues into a defect-tracking system including follow-up and closing of issues
9. During times of emergencies, outages and project planned work; be on call and available until the event is addressed. During system conversions, extra effort may be required in order to ensure the roll out of the system is successful.
10. Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
1. Learn to use professional concepts.
2. Apply company policies and procedures to resolve routine issues.
3. Basic familiarity with testing tools and applications performance tools.
4. Ability and initiative to learn scripting and test automation tools
5. Ability to write test cases and procedures to an approved specification.
6. Acquire job skills and learn company policies and procedures to complete routine tasks.
7. Communication required such as receiving basic instructions and sharing test results.
8. Typically 0 to 2 years of experience. Emerging familiarity working with and understanding basic business processes, flow and functionality.
