Review and analyse injury and incident reports and data, Help manage risks and hazards, liaise with the head of the unit or controlled entity

Coordinate all training of employees on site and schedule all courses with the safety department, etc..

Safety officers must be able to compile a risk assessment, safe working procedure and method statement

Safety officers are responsible to prepare the site emergency evacuation plan, "B.SC ENGINEER IS A MUST"
