Urgently required for a reputed MEP Division is Specialist Engineering Company undertaking the Design, Engineering, Supply, Installation and Commissioning of Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing Services for Commercial / Residential & Infrastructure Projects in UAE.
Summary of Role:
The Storekeeper is responsible for all warehouse operations activities including shipping and receiving, deliveries, coordinating stock, documenting warehouse transactions, maintaining records, and overseeing storage of surplus inventory and property for the District.
Key Accountabilities
-Inspecting and distributing items as per quality and quantity of materials purchases and separates Counting, weighing and measuring goods received or issued
-Dispensing items and posts amounts of items to inventory control cards and in system
-Stocking materials according to a prescribed inventory system
-Maintaining minimum stock of items of all times as per inventory policy
-Closing co-ordinates with the purchase team for Procurement of items
-Keeping work area clean and as per health and safety guidelines
Job Specification / Know-how
-Intermediate
-Excellent in MS Office, Outlook
Experience:
Minimum 3 to 8 years in core MEP projects in a similar role on a large-scale projects, construction site
Technical Skills:
-Experience with shelving, storing, and distributing material
-Knowledge of inventory control procedures
-Multi-tasking ability.
Desired Candidate
-Must be a Muslim, Saudi national is preferred or an expat based in Saudi Arabia with transferable Iqama or have worked on large building/airport projects in GCC with working knowledge in both English & Arabic
-At least 5 years experience in building MEP projects on a similar capacity
-Able to prove his qualifications for leadership and coordination and show his previous experience and references with details
