- Experience: 3 to 5 yrs.The successful incumbent will perform under the direct supervision of the Chancellor or the Vice Chancellor of the University and will normally undertake the following tasks:
1. HR Management Tasks- Analyzes wage and salary reports and data to determine competitive compensation plan.
- Writes directives advising department managers of RANAs policy regarding equal employment opportunities, compensation, and employee benefits.
- Develops and maintains a human resources system that meets top management information needs and the Ministry of Higher Education requirements.
- Oversees the analysis, maintenance, and communication of records required by law or local governing bodies.
- Writes and delivers presentations to RANAs Staff regarding human resources policies and practices.
- Recruits, interviews, tests, and selects employees to fill vacant positions.
- Plans and conducts new employee orientation to foster positive attitude toward RANAs goals.
- Keeps records of benefits plans participation such as hires, promotions, transfers, performance reviews, and terminations, and employee statistics for internal management and government reporting.
- Coordinates management training in interviewing, hiring, terminations, promotions, performance review, safety, and sexual harassment.
- Advises management in appropriate resolution of employee relations issues.
- Responds to inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and programs.
- Administers performance review program to ensure effectiveness, compliance, and equity within the institute.
- Administers salary administration program to ensure compliance and equity within the institute.
- Conducts wage surveys within labor market to determine competitive wage rate.
- Prepares budget of human resources operational and developmental plans.
- Prepares reports and recommends procedures to reduce absenteeism and turnover.
- Represents organization at personnel-related hearings and investigations.
2. HR Lectureship Task- Under the provision of quality education, the incumbent will also undertake to deliver lectures in BBA and MBA classes in his/her specialized subjects.
- The required credit hours will not exceed 25hrs/week or as scheculed by the Head of Department(s).
- The candidate will also perform as a member of the MBA committee and he/she will ensure to supervise BBA and MBA thesises of the finalized student not more than 8 thesis in a given period of time or as assigned by the HoD.
- Fluency in English
